Introducing art club in Sergio Toral


For the passed few months we have been running a workshop in a new sector in Guayaquil for a group of around 15 children who live too far away to join any of the other art club sessions. They have been fantastic, really excited, appreciative and absolutely love to play games. Last week we played chinese whispers perhaps more appropriately known in Ecuador as ‘el teléfono’.

Flying high

Ecuador has an abundance of exotic birdlife with an impressive number of species endemic to the country. Inspired by photos of both the familiar and more exotic birds of Ecuador the children created watercolour murals, depicting birds sitting on telegraph wires, a familiar sight in Guayaquil. We were really impressed by their interpretations…
